Make a map of every country you've visited

Tap the countries you've been to — or type them. Mapae counts them, shows how much of the world and of each continent you've seen, and makes a poster for your Story or feed.

Questions

How many countries are there?

Mapae counts 197: the 193 UN member states, the two UN observer states (Vatican City and Palestine), plus Kosovo and Taiwan — the way most travellers count. Places like Hong Kong, Greenland or Puerto Rico are counted as territories.

Is it free?

Yes — completely, with no sign-up. Your selection stays in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

How do I share it on Instagram?

On a phone, tap Share and pick Instagram — the image goes straight to your Story. Or save it and post it from your photos.

Can I change it later?

Yes. This browser remembers your countries, and a copied link opens your map exactly as you left it.

Can I show a single trip on a map too?

Yes — that's what Mapae is for: add the stops of a trip and it becomes an animated map video for Reels, TikTok and Shorts.
