Questions

What is the safe zone on Instagram Reels?

In a 1080 × 1920 video, keep text and faces about 220 px from the top, 420 px from the bottom, 130 px from the right and 60 px from the left — the like, comment and share buttons sit on the right, the caption and audio at the bottom.

What is the safe zone on TikTok?

About 150 px from the top, 480 px from the bottom (TikTok's caption area is the deepest), 140 px from the right and 60 px from the left of a 1080 × 1920 frame.

What is the safe zone on YouTube Shorts?

About 120 px from the top, 320 px from the bottom, 180 px from the right (Shorts has the widest button column) and 60 px from the left.

Is there one safe area for all three?

Yes: inside 60 px left, 180 px right, 220 px top and 480 px bottom, nothing is covered on any of them — choose "All 3".

Is my video uploaded?

No. It plays from your device inside this page; nothing is sent anywhere.

Are these numbers exact?

They are measured from the apps as they look in 2026 and are a little generous. The apps change their layouts now and then — check in the app before posting anything critical.
